Community Support

What is Outreach?

Outreach provides flexible support to a person currently living on their own in community or needing help to find their own home. A support person meets with the person in their home or community to help with daily living. This support can be on-on-one or in a group. People are supported in choices that encourage increased independence by connecting them to social and community resources.

Who is Outreach for?

For adults living with developmental and intellectual disabilities in the Fraser Valley. It is available to people who own, lease, or rent their own homes, or those who may choose alternate living options or are living without a home.

Caitlin's Story

Although Caitlin lives with a disability, she doesn’t let anything stop her from living her dreams. She works two jobs, is getting married, and dreams of one day opening her own day care.
