Respite Care Needed for Adults and Children

At Communitas, respite care is designed to serve children, and adults living with disabilities, and their families. Respite provides a needed break for parents while allowing children and adults to create meaningful new connections and experiences.

Communitas is in need of skilled contracted care providers who are passionate about providing care for people with disabilities. Experience is preferred and for children’s respite, we are in particular need of respite providers who have experience with children on the Autism Spectrum.

Respite is a great opportunity for those looking for a flexible work schedule and are looking to supplement a family’s support network. The hours will vary depending on the needs of the individual and their family. Families typically look for hourly respite but there are opportunities for overnight care as well.
