Summary

We are looking for caring and enthusiastic individuals who possess excellent teamwork skills to join our team! The Human Resources Assistant works within the Communitas HR Department, assisting the Recruitment Coordinator with hiring and placement of staff for the organization.

  • this is a permanent part time position, 8 hours/week
  • work schedule is weekday daytime hours

Requirements

  • College level education in related field, Minimum of 4 years office/administrative experience
  • A philosophy of service that is in line with Communitas’ vision, mission and values
  • Knowledge/experience relating with people who have a disability is an asset
  • Outgoing, pleasant personality that positively represents Communitas to the public and staff
  • Excellent teamwork skills, as well as the ability to work independently without supervision
  • Excellent organizational skills. Able to work accurately and effectively in a fast paced and changing environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent computer skills with a demonstrated working knowledge of MS Office
  • Possession of a valid Class 5 BC drivers license
