Chris works at Tradex keeping the dining room clean and tidy, offering to help customers. Chris has an amazing outlook on life. He’s positive, encouraging, polite and enthusiastic. He is passionate about serving his community. His manager, Lynda, says that he is constantly pursuing excellence, asking questions, clarifying when needed and makes sure that he does it right the first time.
“He’s doing fabulous,” she says. “Everyone is happy with him.”
CLP Employment covers topics such as transportation, resumes and interviews, communication in the workplace, having a strong work ethic, respect, and a good attitude. We help participant develop their confidence in the workplace; and in society as a whole. Participants and staff work together to turn employment goals into realities. Staff provide ongoing support, communication and tools to maintain a successful working relationship with an employer.
CLP also offers:
- Community Living Program – Life Skills, which provides support and life-skills training to individuals living independently in the community. Through classes and one-on-one support, individuals learn social, personal and domestic skills.
