Centennial Place

Centennial Place is a new clubhouse program, serving people living with a mental illness, in Mission, BC.  It is a place for learning, relating, and belonging, through social, leisure and work activities with a strong vocational focus.  The schedule centres around a work-ordered day where individuals come together as members, and through their participation and leadership roles within various programs or working units, they can regain the skills and confidence needed to live satisfying lives.
Activities which members are encouraged to be involved in include:

•    Developing personal goal plans with support from Centennial Place staff
•    Employment related activities
•    Training sessions (First Aid/CPR; Food-Safe, wellness training, and daily living skills)
•    Cleaning and basic maintenance of Centennial Place
•    Centennial Place planning and discussion meetings
•    Community volunteer work
•    Centennial Place administration
•    Social and Leisure activities

Potential members will have expressed an interest in using one, some, or all Centennial Place activities as a means to further support their own personal recovery.
Members must be at least 18 years of age and can be referred to Centennial Place by the local Mental Health Centre or Family Physician.
